The way the world works doesn't requre any external "devine" influence, so it would make more sense for a "god" not to exist.

There is no definite answer. Truth is what it is to yourself. So if you have faith then go with it. If you don't , no one can obviously change your mind.It's what you make him to be..Everyone has their own opinion.
